An independent guide to private-house sewage. Not a manufacturer, seller or installer, and not affiliated with the QUBO brand or the former site on this domain; design and installation are done by professionals.

Archive

Here is the full list of what we have published, from the newest article to the first map of sections. Next to each title are the publication date and the main topic. The topic filter lets you keep just one area on screen (systems, choice, day-to-day use or safety) if you are looking for something specific and do not want to scroll through the whole list.

We do not hide the domain's past or pretend to be its former owners. Old addresses that once described equipment now lead to reference pages, and each of them states plainly what used to be there.

— Editor's note

Each line in the list is a separate published page, with no duplicates and no announcements of things not yet ready. When a page is substantially reworked, we give its line a new date and announce it again in the feed of new publications. There are no deleted pages in the archive: if something becomes outdated, we rewrite the text rather than hide it.

Old addresses on this domain

This domain once hosted the site of a seller of treatment plants, and later it was taken over by unrelated advertising. We removed the advertising pages completely, and turned the three addresses that used to describe holding tanks, pumping stations and a sorption unit into reference pages. Each one explains what used to be at that address, and none of them sells anything.

What this text is based on

  • Qubo Los editorial team: publication log

Rules, requirements for treatment facilities and equipment manuals are updated from time to time, so the final word belongs to the design, the regulations in force and the documentation of your particular system. The texts here cite Russian standards; other countries have their own building and sanitary rules, so check local regulations and permits. This guide explains how systems work and why decisions are made, but it does not replace a designer, an installer or a service company.
